The creation of "Tiffani" prompted a new addition to my process of being as authentic as possible. The name of the character is just as important as the graphics and designs that I manually place throughout my sets. 

I have always had a fascination with names; what they mean; the origin and/or legend of it. Therefore, while editing and critiquing my work the question always arises: "Now, what's your name?"

"Francesca" was the female character that I had given a backstory to. It was a creative challenge to have a sense of her essence and then go about creating a set that did her justice. There could be no denying that it represented her, and her alone.

"Sophia" is my debut Mynroe Fashion Set Spring 2017 (March 14). 

I hadn't posted, let alone create, a set for over 5 months. As I went along, getting back into the groove of my styling creativity--I realized how much I had missed it and how much I down played a very obvious truth.

I am a natural born artist.

Denying it came from my insecurities and doubts but there was no denying that as time went by creating this--my skin warmed, my eyes widen, my mind furiously buzzed with new ideas and concepts. I was in a trance being lost in the moment, coming back to reality when the last detail is obliged. 

#TBH I was nervous and in the beginning, very uncomfortable. I knew that my MIA would make this a new introduction to a new season and poetically, a new me. 

Envisioning, creating and executing the idea of characters has brought about another level of creativity & confidence that has taken me by surprise. It's more of a journey for me; an evolution that I find myself to have stumbled across. 

I feel as though I am telling a story and my sets holds that person's identity; their uniqueness; their essence & yes, their existence.

They are creations, true. My creations. 

So, the process? I'll let you know when I find that out. ;)

This look is most definitely a look for the weekend. I am a huge fan of distressed denim--anything, but it is all depends on the executed look around that particular piece. 
The top that I choose is a nude, flowing,very feminine and soft top that will compliment and level out the shorts. 
The booties, I just gagged over. They are just one of the most perfect pair of shoes I've ever seen. I saw all the possibilities in an instant. 
I focus on not only the styling but also creating "moods" or an "environment" with my styling. And I try to incorporate art and graphics that help make the look and theme well-rounded. Can you just imagine that highlight with that top, dark lip and aqua shades??? Mynroe Style!!! 
*By the way, those pieces that look like "chopsticks" for the hair are actually ear-rings!!!* XO

Festive for Friday for sure! I wanted to create a look that was for a the girl who is not only happy about Friday but Fri-Yay! 
When I saw this patterned skirt it was the piece that I worked around. *A glimpse into my creation*
Of course I had to pop some color in there not only with the top but the phone case that embodies excatly what this outfit was in store for! *wink wink* The shoes are just the perfect subtle color that creates the head to top Mynroe Experience. And of course a girl out on the town needs to have her emergency bag of beauty, glasses to shade at night and hoops that go flawless with that Down Town girl hair flip! XO

Confession Time: I am girl who lives for a cap and my headphones with my laptop in hand. *Blasting the most eclectic playlist ever*
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this look because like the Quote art asks: "What Makes You Feel?"--being low key always brings out the Realness in me and what's better than making a ripped pair of boyfriend cut jeans sexy, along with a fierce ass backpack?

*Toot Toot*--had to beep my own horn because I am LIVING for this style/look. When I created this look I was thinking "Rebel" and/or "Urban Rocker" but threw in that "Girly" spice. *Spice Girls all in One*
I LOVE the top, shoes and bag because they seem to be the perfect accessories for the plain skinny jeans--hence the caption "Wayward Wednesday". 
A hump day destined for be conquured with these boots that are made for walking! 
The jewelry I wanted to be very unique but compliment the look over all. 
The lip color, the phone case, the nail color and "Light Blue" by Dolce and Gabanna are just icing on this Wayward experience. XO
